NORMA WEST
Peacefully, in the early morning hours of December 10, 2022, our sister and aunt passed away at the age of 86.
Norma was predeceased by her parents, Hilda and Everett, aunts, uncles, niece, and recently, her sister Judy and brother-in-law Charles. She is survived by her brother Warren (Marlene), her nieces and nephews, and their families.
Norma's early years were challenging for her, and required personal determination and strength to overcome the health difficulties she endured. With the love and support of her family, Norma lived a long, satisfying life, and enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch, crafts, music, and especially reading.
We are grateful to all those who showed kindness and friendship to her throughout her life's journey. A special thank you to the staff of Lions Personal Care Home, who gave Norma excellent care over the past several years.
A private family service has been held in her honour. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to one of the following charities are appreciated: Lions Housing Centres, Manitoba Possible, or McCrorie-West Family Fellowship for Alzheimer Research (mcwestfellowship.com).
