MICHELLE AIMEE BOURGEOIS
(HEBERT)

Mary's.

MICHELLE AIMEE BOURGEOIS
(HEBERT)

February 18, 1953 - December 16, 2022

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Michelle. Left behind are her loving husband Denis, her children Philippe (Krystyna), Marc (Debra), Danielle and her precious grandchildren: Quinn, Belle, Kai and Rhea. Predeceased by her parents Léa and Albert Hebert, and her son-in-law Shaun Howell.
All while raising the family, Michelle worked as an Event Planner at the convention centre, volunteered/directed the youth choir at St. Eugene Church, and studied at Red River College to obtain her Business Diploma. With this new academic certificate in hand, Michelle landed her dream job at MTS Mobility as Marketing Manager. When the opportunity presented itself, she jumped at the chance to work with her childhood and lifelong friend Roger Aquin at Canada Life. From there, Michelle took her talents to The Winnipeg Foundation, where she built strong relationships with the community and donors. In 2006, she founded Concierge de Bourgeois, which blossomed into a successful home improvement business.
Michelle's real passion was music. She sang with "Les Intrépides" for over 52 years. After the director retired, she was instrumental in continuing the choir and created the Marcien Ferland Bursary in the honour of the director. She then founded "Les petits Intrépides", a children's choir, with the vision of a youth choir to follow.
Michelle was the centre of our family...its very heartbeat. She found her soulmate Denis at age 16 and together they enjoyed over 49 precious years of married life. She cherished her time with family and friends most of all. She was everyone's go-to person. When you needed advice, support, or a hug, Michelle was there. Her beautiful spirit was ever so thoughtful, always looking for ways to help others.
Michelle had so many talents and passions, too many to list, from her beautifully gardened yard to her delicious gourmet meals and baking, which she shared and brought joy to so many. Those that worked with her will remember her strong work ethics and integrity. Those who spent memorable times with her got to enjoy her sense of humour and her playful and mischievous side.
Michelle was taken from us too soon, but we are incredibly grateful and honoured to have had her in our lives. Our "Nana", "Maman" and"Sweetie" will be forever loved and missed.
A service will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., Ste. Eugène Church, 1009 St. Mary's Road.
