STANLEY AUGUST LUTY
1943 - 2022
Sadly, we announce the passing of Stanley August Luty on Monday, November 28, 2022. He was born Friday, April 16, 1943, the first son of August and Kathleen Luty of Winnipeg, and was 79 when, after a brief illness, he passed at Grace Hospital.
Stan started his career at the Hudson Bay Company and then, following a love of music, began his entrepreneurial career as a disc-jockey. "Swingin' Stan the Music Man", played vinyl recordings for socials, weddings and other events. Stan subsequently acquired and managed Sno-White Diaper Service in Windsor Park where he lived most of his life.
Stan was predeceased by his father August Luty, and his mother Kathleen Luty (nee Soltys). He is survived by his brothers, Timothy Frederick Luty of East St. Paul, Manitoba, and Robert Joseph Luty and partner Annette Ahlberg and her family of Edmonton, Alberta.
A private family service and cremation have taken place. Interment at All Saints Cemetery in West St. Paul will be undertaken at a later date.

Stan, Bill, Marshall and I met most mornings and walked to the collegiate together. Although I lost touch with Stan over time I often thought of him and wondered where he was. He was a great guy. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. - Posted by: Ken Krebs (High school friend) on: Dec 24, 2022
