REGINALD FRANCIS DIXON
March 30, 1943 - December 27, 2022
Dad was born in Winnipeg, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2022. Dad spent his childhood living in Vancouver and Brooklands, Winnipeg.
Dad was predeceased by his mother Ruth; stepfather Sid; sister Katherine and his brothers, Raymond, Jim and Henry.
Dad met the love of his life on a blind date 1963 and married Maureen in 1965. They lived in Windsor Park for a few years and moved to Stony Mountain where they lived for 52 years. Dad worked many jobs in his lifetime but the one that brought him the most joy was the over 20 years he spent at Kings, his devotion to Bruce and Clara was unmatched to this day.
Left to mourn him are his wife Maureen; his children, Kimberly, Jeff and Melanie (Lance); his grandchildren whom he cherished, Dorian and Olivia; his brothers, Sid (Cindy), Bruce (Rhea), Sam; brother in-law Jim (Chris) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Our family would like to thank Denis Simared for being there for him through many ups and downs and always helping him when he felt like giving up, as well as the many nurses and doctors in Stonewall.
As per Dad's request, cremation has taken place and a gathering will take place at the Stonewall Legion, 459 Main Street on January 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stonewall Legion Branch #52.

Reg was a one of a kind. Always a smile. A hug and quick wit humour. I knew him all my life as we were neighbors when I was a child. Spent many hours playing with Kimberly as kids. Babysat and spent time with Jeff and Mel. Wonderful chats..laughs and love spent over coffee or just hanging out with the family. I will always hold a special place in my heart for ""my Reggie" as I always called him. My condolences to the family. Always and forever Teresa - Posted by: Teresa campbell (Family friend) on: Jan 04, 2023
