RAYMOND RUSSELL IVERSON
It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Raymond Russell Iverson on January 3, 2023, at the age of 95 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Mark, Sandra, Sheena (Fred); his grandchildren, Bonni (Ryan), Pierce, Sarah, Olivia, Sarah Kate, Neil (Christy), Trina; and seven great-grandchildren.
Raymond was predeceased by his loving wife of 72 years, Constance Rae; daughter Victoria; parents, Russell and Elsie Iverson; siblings, Sonny, Darlene, Gail, Dorothy and Shirley.
Ray was a reserved, hardworking, gentle man who loved to keep busy. After retiring from a 46 and one half year career with Air Canada (TCA), he could be found tinkering, fixing or building something. Always wanting to be out in nature, Ray loved golf, hunting, bird watching, and many daily walks and talks with neighbours.
Thank you to the staff at Rosewood for their patience and care of Raymond.
Thank you, Dad, for setting an example of hard work, honesty, and enjoying the little things in life. You will be missed.
A private family interment will take place at Chapel Lawn in the summer.

Ray was a great guy. I cherish fond memories of coffee at the mall with him, Jack and my dad, Bill. Also, of bird watching/photography walks through Fort White with Ray, Jack and Dad. So very sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Judy Iverson McCoy (Cousin) on: Jan 12, 2023

My condolences.... Great Uncle Ray was just that to me, Great. He made my grandma Shirley light up every time she spoke of him and when he went to her house to give her her undistributed coins for her collections, she was like a young girl again. I loved and am truly grateful for being able to witness their loving bond. Rest in peace uncle Ray. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ - Posted by: Lisa (Great niece) on: Jan 09, 2023

I am so sorry to hear your dad has passed. Uncle Rae was the most wonderful, kind, gentle man. I loved joking with him riding bikes with him, having interesting conversations with him. He always made me laugh and gave great hugs when ever I seen him. He was a gentleman I only knew two real gentlemen in my life and that was grandpa and Uncle Rae. He will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace - Posted by: Cindy (Niece) on: Jan 07, 2023
