GEORGES-EDOUARD D'AUTEUIL
1960 - 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Georges-Edouard d'Auteuil on January 4, 2023.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Maria, sons, Samuel and Michel, his beloved grandson Emmanuel, his mother Jacqueline, his sisters, Claudette and Lucille, his sister-in-law Hélène, nephews, Ivan and Martin, niece Nicole, sister-in-law Idalina, nephews, Andre and Christopher, and niece Veronica, as well as their spouses and children.
He was predeceased by his father Athanase, his brother Gilbert, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Joao and Judith Medeiros.
Prayer service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral Mass will take place 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 4588 Roblin Blvd. with a private family interment to follow in Ile des Chenes.
He left us too soon and will be dearly missed. He is now at peace and resting
in God's care.

George mon ami, tu étais un bon ami à l'école et un excellent joueur de hockey sur notre équipe. Bien que nous ne nous soyons pas vus depuis notre 25ieme réunion de classe en 2003, je te considère encore à ce jour et te considérerai toujours comme un grand ami et une personne que je tiendrai toujours en haute estime. Repose en paix mon ami. Jean Provost George my friend, you were a good friend in high school & a great hockey player on our team. Although we hadn’t seen each other since our 25th class reunion of 78 in 2003, I still to this day consider you and will always consider you a great friend and a person that I will always hold in high esteem. Our dear nephew will be greatly missed. George Edward was his full name and I would tease him by using his full name. He would laugh and say ma tante tu peux m’appeler George. George was a great auto mechanic and had the ability and knowledge to work on foreign cars.
