Condolences & Memories (4 entries)
I worked with Jeff in the 1970’s, when he worked at Sears as a Buyer for Mens Clothing. He was one of the best. Most of all, everyone loved him, his great sense of humour and his kindness. But most all, his family was the world. And as much as he enjoyed his work at Sears in Toronto ….his heart was still in Winnipeg. So he returned to Winnipeg with his family, and never looked back. My husband and I visited him in 1975 in Winnipeg, where Lois and Jeff welcomed us to FRIENDLY MANITOBA. God Bless all the Black Family. - Posted by: Samantha “sam” Jennen (Sears Toronto 1970) on: Apr 04, 2023
We were saddened to hear of your Dad’s passing. Was happy to hear that Wendy was able to be with him and I’m sure it was a great comfort to both of them. Your parents always had and will have a special place in our hearts Love and sympathy to all of you. Frank and Lynda Bell - Posted by: Lynda Bell (Cousin) on: Feb 02, 2023
We had many fun times with Jeff and Lois at the Senior Scene in Victoria Beach. They both had a great sense of humour and were very much missed when they moved back to Winnipeg. Our sincere sympathy goes out to family. - Posted by: Grace & Larry Hoskin (Friends) on: Jan 15, 2023
Although I only briefly met your Dad a few times. I know he was a wonderful person and father to his family and friends from the stories Jody had shared with me. What a full life he had. His smile tells me he was a fun person to be around. Condolences to all his family and friends. Peace be with you. - Posted by: Gwen Voroney (Family friend ) on: Jan 14, 2023
