LORNA HENDERSON
July 9, 1925 - January 9, 2023

Our family sadly announces the peaceful passing of Lorna Henderson on January 9, 2023, at the age of 97 years.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory sons, Michael Henderson (Vinod), Thomas Henderson (Barbara) and daughter Karen Sidley (David) as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lorna was born in Sidney, Manitoba to Violet and William Henderson. Her childhood was spent in Kelwood, Manitoba. She had nine brothers and sisters, all who have predeceased her.
Mom worked for the Provincial Government for the Manitoba Department of Highways (Bridge division) for 25 years and retired at the age of 65. Prior to that she worked at Eatons. After retirement she enjoyed going on bus Casino trips, playing Bingo and cribbage.
The family would like to express their thanks for the care that was provided by the staff at Lions Personal Care Home during her last few years.
As per Mom's wishes her body has been cremated. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
