JOSEPH STANTON (STAN) COURRIER
On January 5, 2023, Dad went to his final fishing hole. Stan was born in Ottawa in 1941. He served with the OPP until 1974 when he moved his family to Winnipeg.
Left to mourn are his children: Cathy (Troy), David (Tracy), Linda (Mike) and Bennett; his grandchildren: Trevor (Lilian), Kevin, Nicole (Parsa), Michele (Chris), Joe (Megan), Melissa and Julia; his great-grandchildren: Parker, Remmi, and Cyrus; and he will also be fondly remembered by Darleen.
Thank you to the 3rd floor North nursing staff at the Grace Hospital for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warriors or the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.

Longtime friendship from 1960’s. Many happy times spent around Ottawa, Stittsville and Bennett Lake. Rest In Peace. Ralph and Muriel Paul - Posted by: Ralph Paul (Co worker Ottawa OPP) on: Jan 15, 2023

Stan and I worked together for many years during which we socialized on a regular basis. He was, in my opinion, a happy-go-lucky guy whose people skills were invaluable in his role as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counsellor. He will be sadly missed and I to extend my condolences to his extended family. - Posted by: Craig Cormack (WCB co-worker ) on: Jan 14, 2023
