EMMANUEL JOSEPH AIME BERIAULT


On December 29, 2022, Emmanuel Joseph Aime Beriault passed away suddenly at his home in Winnipeg Manitoba.
Emmanuel was born December 17, 1946, in Steinbach, Manitoba, eldest child of Honore and Florentine (Trudeau) Beriault.
Emmanuel will be missed by his loving wife Helen of 53 years; his daughters, Deborah Ayerst of Winnipeg and Jacqueline Lewis (Lance) of Monteagle, New Brunswick; his two sons, Matthew and Mitchell Beriault of Winnipeg; sister Eveline Beriault of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Ashley (Shawn) and Samantha, Nicole and Jasmine, Morgan and Amy, Brooke, Cassidy and Mason and great-grandchildren, Rowan, Jordan and Joey. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two infant siblings.
Emmanuel retired from the Health Science Center as an HVAC technician after 35 years of service. Emmanuel was very active, he could always be found cross-country skiing, walking, riding his bike, swimming and exercising in his home gym. He dedicated 15 years to the local YMCA in the pool teaching swimming lessons and helping coach the Special Olympics swim team. Emmanuel and Helen are very successful gardeners, they also enjoyed many years together at their cottage at Pelican Lake Manitoba.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home.

  • Maureen, Jodi and I were saddened to hear of Emmanuel's passing and offer our sincere condolences to Helen and her family at this difficult time of loss. Over the many years of business relations with Emmanuel and his family, there was always a feeling of true friendship from this gentleman of few words who was always very polite and unassuming.
