  • We were saddened to hear of Elaine’s passing, but derived some comfort in knowing that she will be reunited with her beloved husband, Bob. They were our next door neighbours for seventeen years and we subsequently retained our friendship over the years. Among a number of pleasant memories, we recall Elaine as a very talented cook and excellent housekeeper. • We were sorry to hear of Elaine's passing but understood, after trying to contact her over the past couple years, that she was unwell. She was in our thoughts and prayers as her family is now, in time of grief. We have very fond memories of Bob, Elaine, and Ryan, our old neighbours. • My deepest condolences to Ryan and all Elaine’s family. Elaine was always such a friendly neighbour in the Enclave. Her beautiful smile when she met you. Elaine will be missed. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal but Love leaves memories no one can steal. May all your wonderful memories you shared somehow sustain you in your time of sorrow. • My condolences to Ryan and family. Elaine was my next door neighbor at the Mint and became a very close friend. We exchanged food and chatted about our flowers and many other things. Elaine was a courageous woman who met life head on and weathered many a challenge. I have missed her a lot since we moved apart and our lunches had to stop due to COVID. Rest in peace, my very dear friend. My life has been enriched through having met you. - Posted by: Selma Pauls (friend) on: Jan 14, 2023

  • It is with deep sadness that we hear of Elaine’s passing. We worked with Elaine at the Gimli hospital and throughout the years we have kept in touch with phone calls, visits and Christmas cards. On our visits to Winnipeg we would always get together. Our sympathy goes out to Ryan and family. We will truly miss a dear friend. You will be in a better place with Bob. Rest In Peace Elaine.
