  • Dennis was my Office Manager while employed at Canadian Motorways. I found Dennis to be a kind, honest, strong willed and generous manager. Some of my fondest memories are while working at Motorways where the staff was truly appreciated for all their hard work and efforts. Dennis made the days of 9-5 go by peacefully and most of us enjoyed going in to work every day. That was a long time ago, but I can remember it like yesterday. I wish we could have stayed in touch, but with busy lives we just never can find the time which is such a shame. You were a good man Dennis and I will always remember you. - Posted by: BRENDA DOUGLAS (EX CO-WORKER) on: Jan 20, 2023

  • Our condolences to Sharon and family. We met Dennis through Friday night mixed curling – he was our first skip went we joined the league and enjoyed playing with him. - Posted by: Lesley and Kevin Nakonechny (Friend) on: Jan 16, 2023

We hope you are at peace Dennis. You will be missed our friend ❤️ Corey & Connie Olimb - Posted by: Connie & Corey Olimb (Oasis Neighbors ) on: Jan 15, 2023

  • Sorry for your sadness. My memories of the Forrest families go back along time ago. - Treherne. I never saw Denis without his infectious smile, nor angry. He was a very young man who loved to tease and enjoyed life. I can’t even imagine how you feel but pleasant memories will I believe linger and remain in your hearts. - Posted by: Moe Mawby (Friend) on: Jan 15, 2023

  • Norm and Dennis were best Buds. They played in many horseshoe tournaments around Manitoba. Spent hours walking while camping at the Oasis for 30 years. Sometimes their antics got them in trouble a few times. Our kids grew up with The Forrest boys. Dennis was like a favorite uncle and a part of our Family. Enjoyed many suppers together and loud card games. Will miss the guy, but we have many great memories to keep his memory alive in our hearts. R.I.P. dear friend - Posted by: Norm and Sam Fillion (best friends for 42 years.) on: Jan 14, 2023

  • We always enjoyed Dennis' company either quadding, having a beverage, or just sitting around telling hunting stories ( having a beverage ) !! He was quite the gentleman, always polite and quite considerate of others. His abilities cannot be understated and his generosity was second to none. Rest in peace Dennis. - Posted by: Bob Crawley (Acquaintance) on: Jan 14, 2023
