Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Mary was a friend of ours (she was a best friend of my deceased wife Kitty). I remember when she visited us in Nova Scotia some years back and we all had a great time traveling around plus we also visited Prince Edward Island and Anne of Green Gables. My wife knew Mary from high school and maintained a close relationship up to the point of my wife's passing. She will be missed. - Posted by: Gerald Beiko (Friend) on: Jan 31, 2023

  • My heart is broken to hear of Mary's passing. I have known Mary all of my life and we spent time together with Aunt Kay and Uncle Steve on Golf Blvd. as well as many happy times on Arden Ave. when Grandma and Grandpa lived there. The last time I saw Mary was at cousin Ev and Dale Stinson's home where we shared time, a beautiful meal and memories with Lois and Cliff and Aunt Joan Sutherland. Mary was a loving soul and a kind and generous person. I am certain she will be welcomed with open arms when she reunites with all those lovely folk waiting for her. Rest in peace sweet girl. With loving thoughts to the family....cousin Heather from Oakville, Ontario - Posted by: Heather Crompton (cousin) on: Jan 18, 2023

  • I had the privledge of meeting Mary through my job. She was one of the first people to come and meet me, and welcome me in my new role, which meant so much to me. When I think of Mary, the word that immediately springs to mind is kind. She was always so incredibly kind and welcoming. I enjoyed our conversations when we spoke on the phone and when we were able to meet in person. She had a great sense of humour and spoke a lot about her family. She was the kind of person that tried to encourage and support other people. I will miss her laugh, I will miss our conversations and I will miss her kindness. - Posted by: Sara (Peer) on: Jan 18, 2023

  • Always went to Aunt Kay and Uncle Steve's to visit. Mary and I had good memories of our childhood. To Mary, family was the most important part of her life. I will miss her. - Posted by: Diane Laporte Sutherland (cousin) on: Jan 18, 2023
