JESSIE (DOREEN) MALTMAN
1934 - 2023

Peacefully with her daughter by her side, Mom joined Dad to dance amongst the stars.
Predeceased by her husband Bill, her parents Herb and Elsie Laing, and her sister Marj Gould. Left to cherish Mom's memory, son Bill and wife Marilyn, grandson Dwayne and wife Michelle, great-grandchildren Olivia, Keith, Hailey, and Ava, grandson Elias and great-granddaughters Harlowe and Hunter, and granddaughter Kasina and partner Justin, daughter Brenda and husband Randy, grandson Rob and wife Lisa,great-grandson Cameron, great-granddaughter Bella, grandson Chris and wife Jessica, and great-granddaughter Grace. Mom is also survived by sister Helen Butler and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom worked for the T. Eaton Company and loved her job. In 1987 Mom retired and shortly after Mom and Dad moved to Paradise Village to enjoy retired life. Mom loved to bake, enjoyed a game of golf and even had a hole in one. Travels south in the winter and road trips to visit Helen in the summer.
The true center of Moms world was her family. As Chris said, "The Travelling Great Papa and Nan Daycare" for their great-grandchildren. Mom loved to attend soccer games, dance recitals and any family gatherings. We will miss her smile and warm hands.
After Dad's passing Mom moved into Devonshire House assisted living and loved her time there. Our family would like to thank the staff and her Homecare team for the love and care shown towards her.
WE would also like to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital, Deer Lodge 2 west, and Riverview for the exceptional care of Mom during her final days.
As per Moms wishes a private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doreen's name to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
As Mom would say, "I am gonna love you and leave you."
