Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Condolences to his bereaved family and Kuya, Pedro (Or Pierre) that's how he wants me to call is a kind of a nice person, and joker fond of calling me "blonde" because of my grey hair mostly white at the front already. Everytime I came to work as a respite I always greeted him "Good Morning" Kuya Pierre" and responded "Uy Blonde" kumusta na and let me turn around if my hair are looking more whitish and we laughed after. He is fond of telling stories that his "Lolo" died at the age of 110 years old and he wants to live at the age of 120 and you have to look after me. I said" do you think I will still be alive those years" and laughed each other. But unfortunately his dream/wish/have fun to live that long wasn't fulfilled and died at his age of 76 years old after long enough of battling his illness. He lived with a good life and with a very supportive caring wife Ate Carmelita and his sisters-in-law were always there for him. The place where I came from the Philippines in Davao City he knew pretty well because he was assigned as a Philippine Navy for few years, what a small world and meet him in Winnipeg as his home care (caregiver). With all his memories never been forgotten and I was deeply saddened of his death. You are always be remembered "Kuya Pierre". Rest in Peace in Heaven. - Posted by: Tessie (Friend-) on: Jan 31, 2023
