It is with very heavy hearts that we, Cathy's family, announce her sudden and unexpected passing on January 23, 2023 at the age of 69 years.
Cathy is survived by her sons, James (Tara) and Michael (Chantale); and by her three grandsons, Owen (Sheri), Easton, and Foster. She is also survived by her sisters, Sandra Pedrick (Tim) from St. Albert, Alberta and Laura-Lee Bouchard (Roger). Cathy was predeceased by her husband Jim Higham on July 28, 2022, her parents, George and Patricia Bell, and her sister Brenda Langdon.

I was so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. We worked together at the government in the mid 1970’s. It was at this time that I sprained my ankle and couldn’t drive. For a week Cathy picked me up and dropped me off even though it was an additional 15 minute drive each way for her. Almost 50 years later I still remember her kindness and thoughtfulness.
