(nee LOZO)

March 26, 1931 - January 20, 2023

With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Mother and Nana at the age of 91.
Mom leaves to mourn, her son Stephen and daughter Sandra (Robert); grandchildren, Courtney and Allie (Chazz) and great-grandson Owen.
Born in Winnipeg, Mom was the youngest of seven children.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ken in 1968; parents, Peter and Tekla Lozo; brothers and sisters, Roman, Marie, Olive, Anne, Rosalie and William.
Mom enjoyed a career in the grain industry until retirement in 1993.
She had a special talent with knitting, crocheting, sewing, needlepoint and crosstitch and was always working on a project.
Her work was meticulous and people often thought her sweaters, baby outfits and sewn dresses were store bought.
Mom was also a huge fan of music and had season tickets with Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra for many years. Reading was another passion and Mom often stayed up late to finish a book.
Mom loved babysitting her grandchildren when they were young and would enjoy seeing them in the morning to drive them to school along with her homemade lunches.
We would like to send our sincere appreciation to the staff on 2E at Oakview Place for their care during Mom's stay.
Finally, Mom can be with the love of her life, her husband Ken. It's been almost 55 years and you have a lot to catch up on.
Cremation has taken place and a private burial of Mom's ashes will take place in the spring where she will be laid to rest beside Dad.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to any of the Ukraine Relief Funds.

Rest in Peace Mom and Nana.
We love you.
