It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear beloved daughter, sister, mother, niece, godmother and friend.
Vinessa leaves her loving mother Delores Courchene, father Vincent Monias, sisters, Trava Monkman, Sheena Monias and Wendy Monias; her children, Temperance Monias and Cadance Anderson; nieces, Nicole Moore, Alannah Sinclair, Ziva Courchene, Maliyah and Meavah Isfeld; nephews, Jeremiah Moore, Christian Moore and Zander Swampy; godsons, Kayston Courchene, Damien Courchene, Shane Guimond, Junior Guimond; goddaughters, Alandra Twoheart, Bella Guimond, Rayne Guimond; godparents, Mario Bagnulo Alisa, Noreen, Doris Courchene, Fr. Larry Kondra Cssr; uncles, Harold (Boshie), John (Julia), Garrett (Crystal), Devon (Kathy), Terrance (Amber), Justin; and aunties, Amelia Doris (Jorge), Frances (Henry), Noreen (Sterling).
She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Therese (nee Twoheart) Courchene and grandfather George Basil Courchene; her paternal grandmother Patricia Monias and Andrew Fontaine (Henderson), Henry and Mary Enns; her aunts, Alisa, Therese, Karen, Lynn, Elaine; cousins, Blaine, Georgie, Esther, Miranda, Sophia, Alfred (Alfie), Enrique and Gavril; brother Micah James "Bronson" whom she loved and missed dearly.
Vinessa will be missed dearly. She was an awesome mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was loving, caring and very supportive to friends and family.
Her children were her life, she lived to do the best she can for them. Vinessa's smile was contagious and heart-warming. Love and Gonna miss her so much.
The funeral service will take place on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Alexander's Roman Catholic Church, Sagkeeng First Nation. Father Augustine Ezediniru and Father Larry Kondra Cssr will be officiating.
