HAROLD WALTER ERNEST FARTHING
June 14, 1939 - January 23, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Farthing, on January 23, 2023 with his family by his side.
He is survived by his brother Donald Farthing; sisters, Norma (Rowan) and Martha Farthing; his sister-in-law Lois Farthing; his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Alice Farthing; his brothers George and Ray Farthing; and his brother-in-law Tom Rowan.
Harold was born on June 14, 1939 in Coldwell, Manitoba, where he was raised. He farmed all his life with his brothers George and Donald and his sister Martha. He loved working on the hayfield doing the bailing and teaching the younger generations how to work on the farm, but above all else, he loved taking care of his babies (the calves).
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Oak Point Hall in Oak Point, MB with Reverend Cathie Clow officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. An interment will be held at the St. James Anglican Cemetery, Clarkleigh, MB with a luncheon to follow in the hall.
