Peacefully, with family by his side, James Kenning, husband of the late Carole, passed away on January 25, 2023, at Concordia Hospital.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, MB.

Jim was at our family farm often, whether it was fixing on an old car , with Dick and George, or stopping in for a visit when he was in the area doing his water testing for his job. I had the pleasure of knowing the Kenning family since joining Jimmy on a Tom Thumb hockey team at Bronx Park Community Centre in the early 1950s. We played together for 7 years. He was our leader, quarter back and a talented playmaker. Our coaches’ instructions for our power play were simple, “Get the puck to Jimmy”.
