• I worked with Ken for a number of years at Alpine W/C. First impression was of a gruff manager who'd have staff tow the line. In reality, he was nothing at all like that. Forever thoughtful and trusting; we had a fantastic group who'd assist each other to complete the entire workload at the end of day, which he endorsed; this wasn't a norm for the company. He was all about family and we were family. He and Ruth even hosted a barbeque at their place...the entire crew was invited Those were some of the most memorable of my 42 years - so many laughs.
