STELLA LUCYK
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Stella Lucyk on January 26, 2023. Stella was born in Stuartburn, Manitoba on July 6, 1923.
She was predeceased by her mother and three sisters and five brothers. She is survived by sons, Ken and Barry, granddaughter Kerri, grandsons, Kyle, Tyler and Paul and four great- grandchildren.
Stella's pride and joy was her house and yard in West Kildonan where she raised her family. She worked at Eatons and then in later years at MPI which she retired from.
The family wants to acknowledge Julia Janzen at Homestead Manitoba and Kildonan House management for their support of her stay there as well as the care provided to her by the staff at St. Joseph's Personal Care Home.
Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Central Speech and Hearing Clinic or a charity of your choice.

Stella was a generous person with her time and humor. She always gave Gene (her brother) a bad time anytime we visited. While visiting at our place on the lake she really enjoyed hours reclined in a lawn chair on our little boat while Gene cruised the lake. So quiet and peaceful with only an electric motor on the boat. It was sad when she lost her hearing and it was very hard for her I know. May she rest in peace in The Father's care now.
