With heavy hearts, we announce that Emily passed away on January 29, 2023 in Riverview Health Centre at the age of 64 years.
She is survived by their husband of 40 years Kirk; children Daniel, Jacqueline (Travis) and Patrick; grandchildren Anthony, Callie and Zoe; mother Roza, and siblings; Johanna (Geoff), Yvonne (Gary), Adrian (Kathy), and Patricia (Jeff)
Emily was an amazing mother who always put her family first. Greeting everyone with a big smile and a belly laugh! She was always excited to bring one of her special dishes to a gathering which only meant she was able to spend more time with the family she loved so much. Her incredible ability to craft is still showcased in her loved one's homes across the country, whether it be a blanket or pictures of needle point. Her undying love for her unorthodox husband was truly admirable. A kind and generous person with a warm touch that is missed beyond belief. Taken from us far to soon but is now our angel in heaven.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to the Alzheimer's Society.
