LARRY RANDAL PARTAP


After an 18 month fight with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Larry Randal Partap passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at 11:07 p.m.
Larry was born May 2, 1948 in Fyzabad, Trinidad into humble beginnings. After moving to Winnipeg in 1970 he graduated from the U of M and would finish his career as the Chair of the Creative Arts department at Red River College. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed soccer and cricket in his younger days and later turned to golf. Larry also had a strong faith and was a member of St. Gerard Roman Catholic Church.
We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the caring and compassionate nurses, doctors, pharmacists and staff at CancerCare Manitoba and to those who cared for him at St. Boniface Hospital in his final week of his life.
A Celebration of Life for Larry will be held on his birthday at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. To view the service online please follow this link: https://youtube.com/live/q3RFnzPpd34?feature=share
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who are able instead make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba or donate blood.
