Silvia was always so warm and kind from the moment we met about 47 years ago. She opened her heart and her home to everyone. She always made me feel special in the way she would greet meet with a hug and a kiss and she always had something nice to say. Even on our recent visit when she was sick, she was so happy to see me and had a constant smile on her face. A beautiful woman inside and out, a beautiful soul. 🙏😔♥️You will be missed by all. My deepest condolences to Anna, Olivo, Mr Garofalo and family Love. Maria Rondinone Costantino - Posted by: Maria rondinone costantino (Family friend) on: Feb 13, 2023

Dear compare Rafael, Olivo and Anna, Please accept our most sincere and deepest condolences on the passing of your dearly beloved wife and mother. Our families go back over 65 years. From comara Silvia going to wrestling matches with our father, to comara Silvia taking care of the six Marinelli siblings for three weeks while our mother returned to Italy to visit her mother for the last time, to comara Silvia and compare Rafael’s yearly bountiful backyard garden also featured in the Wpg Free Press and to Comara Silvia’s open house policy to one and all. Bella Comara Silvia had hugs and kisses for all. Her hugs would be snuggly tight and the kiss she planted on your cheek was filled with sincerity. Wishing you all strength and peace in your hearts during this very sad time. Baci e abbracci, Comara Anna and family - Posted by: Anna Marinelli (God daughter) on: Feb 12, 2023

My brothers Joey, Tony, and I, are so deeply saddened to hear of this tremendous loss of such a beautiful, kind, caring, and nurturing human being. Many wonderful memories at the Garofalo household with great conversations and delicious food prepared by her. From my first introduction of Mrs G. through Anna, my dear friend, (we were neighbours at the time), I felt her warmth, she cupped my face with her hands while saying hi, and she gave me a little kiss. So forgettable. I knew, from that first greet, how very special she was. We feel so very blessed to have known her. Our hearts, and deepest sympathy go out to Anna, Olivo, and Mr. Garofalo, as well as the rest of her family. May your Angel Rest In Peace. 🙏🏻😢❤️ - Posted by: Lisa Karpyshin (Friend of family) on: Feb 12, 2023
