ANGELA GELARDI

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angela Gelardi on February 8, 2023, at the age of 87.
Angela will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Ralph (Tabatha), Tony (Juli) and daughter-in-law Sandi; grandchildren, Dwayne (Alyssa), Brody (Stephanie), Alexander, Saverio and Faith and great-granddaughter Avery; sisters-in-law, Pasqualina and Giuseppina Princi and many nieces and nephews.
Angela was predeceased by her husband Saverio; son Carmelo; parents, Raffaele and Katerina; brothers, Antonino and Raffaele and sister Lina.
Angela was born in Delianuova, Reggio Calabria (Italy) and immigrated with her husband Saverio and son Carmelo in 1966. She worked for Peerless Garments until her retirement. However, her greatest job was working tirelessly to ensure her husband, three children and her grandchildren were always well cared for and fed. She was meticulous at housekeeping and you would always find her in either the kitchen or the garden. She was always happiest when she was surrounded by family and friends.
The family would like to thank all who took the time to visit Angela or contact the family during this difficult time.
Funeral will take place on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Avenue. Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will take place at the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverly St., followed by a reception at Thomson in the Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Gelardi, Alexander Gelardi, Saverio Gelardi, Carmine Militano, Ralph Princi and Joe Leuzzi.
