March 31, 1944- February 13, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Srecko Gusic on Monday, February 13, 2023 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Srecko joined his wife, Dina in Heaven, leaving to mourn daughter Sandra Gusic (Dragan Jaksic); son Clyde Grey (Naomi); grandchildren, Haley, Zoe, Annabelle; beloved niece Tina Hamzic and his cat Misty; brothers, Mirsolav Gusic (Gunnel), Ivo-Jean Gusic (Nada); sister-in-law Nada Gusic and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

My husband, Miro and Srecko were childhood friends and neighbors in Sarajevo. When we immigrated to Canada from Sweden We, to our surprise, lived in the same block in Elmwood, Winnipeg. Srecko and Dina invited us over at least three times a week for laughter, discussions and delishes pita. Our children played and we were so grateful to have good friends during the cold winter.
