STUART FRASER MACDONALD

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Stuart (Stu) Fraser MacDonald on Thursday, February 16, 2023. He died at Langley Memorial Hospital, at the age of 73, after a lengthy illness and a recent stroke.
He is survived by his wife Zelma MacDonald, siblings, Jill MacInnes (Don) and June Kear (Greg), daughters, Jennifer Thomson (Jason), Kimberley Juchnowski (Ryan) and Carole Shibilev (Brani), six grandchildren and sister-in-law Chris McNeill (Jim). Stuart was predeceased by sister Marilyn Cowie (2007) (Dave 2022) and parents, Fraser (1995) and Elaine (1972).
Born in Winnipeg, Stu, in his early 20s, with his loving wife Zelma, moved to BC where he found his lifelong career at STERIS (Medical Supplies and Services).
Stu, married for 49 years, was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a family man who also loved his workshop and creative home improvement projects. Stu also loved his collectable model cars, which he displayed hundreds of proudly.
Stu will be sadly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him.
His Celebration of Life will be held at Valley View in Surrey, BC (14644-72 Avenue) on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.

When I was little I remember watching Stu work so meticulously on his model cars. They were a true work of art. I also have a fond memory of Stu taking June and I to the speedway to watch car races. I am so sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Darcy Davies (Friend of June) on: Feb 25, 2023
