PHYLLIS IRENE OLSON
January 18, 1928 - February 18, 2023
Peacefully, on February 18, 2023, Phyllis passed away at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd in 1977.
Left to mourn her passing is her daughter Karen; brother David; granddaughters, Tammy (Sean), Darcey (Ron) along with her great-grandchildren: Haley, Jessica, Cody, Bradley; great-great-grandson James; close friend Janis as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In 1945 Mom embarked upon her 40 plus year teaching career. During this time she proudly graduated from the University of Winnipeg with her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education Degrees.
In accordance with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The best teacher I ever had, known to us as Mrs. Olson. She came to Oak Bluff and tamed a multi grade classroom that had got 'out of hand'. She accepted nothing but excellence in her students. I benefited greatly from the 3 1/2 years of her guidance.
