The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre and the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre for their extraordinary caring and compassion shown to Karen.

To hear her voice, to see her smile,
To sit and talk with her a while,
To be together in the same old way,
Would be our dearest wish today.

  • I loved visiting Karen and Garth at their lovely home. Karen was always so gracious to her relatives from afar; she made me feel like I lived around the corner. When you were in conversation with Karen, you were the centre of that moment (unless a beloved dog happened to need her attention, of course!). Her ability to travel ended way too early with her foot pain, but we all remember how much she loved to fly. My hope is that her world is now filled with flight. Jennifer and Garth are in our thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Carmen Colborne (Sister-in-law) on: Mar 05, 2023
