Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Condolences to Deemers Family and way too many Friends to name. Deemer was one in a million. Always in my heart and never to be forgotten. Gone way too soon. Rest In Peace my Friend. - Posted by: Barb Bright (Good Friend) on: May 17, 2023

  • Demer as an original St Vital Flocking Duck. He helped the team win provincial championships and played in two national championships in Victoria and Oshawa. Sure handed, he played near errorless ball for the Ducks. The Ducks lost a good one. Frank and Linda Clark Head Ducks - Posted by: Frank Clark (Coach) on: Apr 07, 2023

  • Rob was a few years older than me. We played ball hockey on the rink at Greendell. One time I was being bullied by a bigger kid who took me into the boards pretty hard. I was lying on the ice when “boom”, the bully was knocked flat and was lying beside me. Ron had done that. Ron said to the bully, “Every time you knock one of these smaller kids down, I'm going to knock you down” The bully never bullied again. Ron was that kind of guy. May he rest easy. • I remember playing basketball in his backyard or we would go fishing down at the river, playing football or baseball on my parents big lawn beside the house. I have many other memories with Ron too many to list. Rest in peace Ron - Posted by: Bill Okolita (Childhood friends) on: Mar 04, 2023
