CLIFFORD RALPH CHASE
July 5, 1931 February 21, 2023
It is with very deep sadness that we announce the passing of Clifford Ralph Chase (Buzz) on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his wife, Joyce and son, Dennis.
Buzz was an amazing husband, father, brother, grandfather and recently, great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Kenny (Bonnie), Lenny, Glenny (Susan) and daughter Linda (Tim). He also leaves behind his sister Lois, grandsons Brett (Dayna), Cameron (Courtney) and the newest addition to the family, his great-granddaughter, Chloe.
Buzz was born in Rainy River, Ontario and moved to Winnipeg at a young age. He spent his working life as an electrician and enjoyed spending evenings and weekends at either the hockey rink or baseball diamond watching his grandsons play the sports they loved.
Dad always did his very best to put everyone else first. The compassion and care giving that he put towards his family and Mom in her final years was truly incredible and something that we will never forget. We enjoyed hearing the stories he told us about his time in the Navy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with the family. The family would like to thank the Maples Personal Care Home, St. Boniface Hospital and Glen Eden Funeral Home for providing Dad with the compassionate and kind care that he deserved.
If people wish to honour his memory, donations can be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

Dear Ken, Lenny, Glenn, Linda, and families. I am so sorry for the loss of your dad, but also grateful that he is now with your mom again. He was a good, kind, and intelligent man. I always enjoyed our visits. Rest in peace uncle Buzz. Karen - Posted by: Karen McDougall (Niece) on: Mar 13, 2023

Dear Buzz, I will miss our “tea and muffin” visits when we talked about anything and everything. And the way you used to say “Hello Daaabra”. You are at peace now and with Joyce. Give her a big hug for me. 💕 - Posted by: Debra Baker (Sister in law) on: Mar 06, 2023
