• Joyce was my 1st Cousin, once removed, the only daughter of my granduncle Lind Larsen and his wife, my grandaunt, Beatrice Scharf. On behalf of myself and her other cousins on the Jenkins side, my sister Linda and my brother Terry, I offer our deepest condolences to Paul and the rest of the Buors family. I remember, as a child, seeing Joyce, and her late brother Ken, at the Larsen family farm near Ideal, Manitoba. She was always such a calm and pleasant person. Because we lived in Winnipeg we did not see our cousins very often but when we did it was always great fun. She will be missed.
