NICK DYKUN
May 1, 1934 – March 4, 2023
On Saturday, March 4, 2023, Nick Dykun passed away peacefully at the Vita and District Health Centre, Vita, MB, at the age of 88 years old.
Nick was predeceased by his wife Jean Dykun, his parents Frozina and John Dykun, brother Peter and granddaughter Nicole Dykun.
Nick is survived by three children Ritchie (Shelley), Jarvis and Sandra; seven grandchildren Crystal (Alby), Jason (Jamie), Angelique (Andrew), Tanisha (Brent), Cassandra, Brent and Cody; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister Dorothy Serediuk.
A special thank you to all the homecare workers, Vita doctors, nurses and healthcare aids that took care of him in his final days.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with viewing one hour prior to the service and interment to follow at St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Town) Cemetery, Gardenton, MB.
