HAROLD WAYNE ROSPAD
August 22, 1952 March 4, 2023
Harold Wayne Rospad, 70, of Saskatoon passed away March 4, 2023, at Royal University Hospital.
He was born on August 22, 1952 to Harry and Olga Rospad in Dauphin, MB. Harold moved to Saskatoon in 1976 to be an assistant manager at Robinson's Department Store. He married Loretta Boehm on July 22, 1983 and they had one daughter, Jennifer. Harold put his family before everything else, and enjoyed spending time with them. He had a great sense of humour, and was always joking around with those around him. He was interested in vintage cars, Ukrainian culture, spending time in nature, and rock n' roll music (especially Elvis and BTO). After working at Robinson's, Harold worked for many years in inventory management for the Human Resources Centre of Canada, and then in hardware at Peavey Mart and the Co-op Home Centre, and as an interviewer with Fast Consulting.
Harold is survived by his life partner Loretta, daughter Jennifer (Michael) Rospad, and sister Gloria (Jack) McRae. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Olga, and brother Joseph (Marge) Rospad.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Parish, 1902 Munroe Avenue South, Saskatoon with Rev. Fr. Michael Dechant, OMI as celebrant. Rite of Committal of Harold's cremated remains will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Royal University Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
