JOSE MANUEL MARE
On February 28, 2023, Joe Mare passed away at the age of 83 years.
Joe was predeceased by his wife Maria de Jesus Gravito Maré, son Joe Manuel Gravito, and daughter Paula Maré.
He is survived by his children, Delia (Charlie) Rodrigues, Maria Maré, Guida Abdulla, Luis Gravito, and Paulo (Kristin) Gravito, as well as his grandchildren, Chris, Stephanie, Noah, Mark, Michelle, Ashley, George, Wisam, Timothy, Cassandra, Taylor, Tera, Kurtis, Jonathan, Emma, Dominic, and Nelinha.
Joe was born in Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Azores. He had a strong love for all his children, grandchildren, and family. He always enjoyed the company of all his grandchildren. He had a definite passion for food. In his later years he enjoyed the visits that he had with Paulo, looking forward to their chat, coffee and muffin!! He will be greatly missed and always remembered.
Vigil Prayers will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2023 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Bardal Funeral Home, interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
