January 18, 1929 - March 9, 2023
Peacefully on March 9, 2023 at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB with family by his side, Larry Kauppila, aged 94 years, passed away.
Larry is survived his children, Doreen, Brian (Denise), Lori and Howard; son-in-law Jerry (Dale); daughter-in-law Lee (Darren); brother Paul along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, Marttii and Eili; daughter Debbie; son Marty; and his great-grandson Austin.
Cremation has taken place and a service is being planned at a later date.
The family would like to thank Leslie, Courtney and Lee for always being there for Larry.

I met Larry this August when Lori took me to the Roger Kim Lee Music Festival and we enjoyed outdoor festivities with her dad. I found him to be like the rest of her family, kind, inviting and down to earth . To be so vibrant and living in his own home at 94, with the support of the family is an enviable life !
