VELMA MATIAS
On March 12, 2023, with her family by her side, Velma Matias (née Vermeylen) passed away peacefully at the age of 73.
Velma will be forever missed by her husband Edward Matias; her daughter Tina Matias-Bouchard and husband Bradley Bouchard; and her granddaughter Brooke Bouchard and husband Jose Borregales. Velma was predeceased by her parents, Clara (née Langan) and Louis Vermeylen.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd., followed by interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. Livestreaming of this service can be viewed on the Our Lady of Perpetual Help website or their Youtube channel.
