Condolences & Memories (4 entries)
We are very sad to hear about Nelma’s passing. She was a lovely neighbour who always took interest in our children as they were growing up. She enjoyed a chat and especially a visit, and was eager to participate in activities on the cul-de-sac. She will always be remembered for her engaging smile and great storytelling. - Posted by: Linda & Paul Bailes (Friends & neighbors) on: Apr 20, 2023
I am very sad to hear of Nelma's passing. Nelma served on my PhD committee at the University of Manitoba. She was such a great supporter of my research. I admired her joy for life; her enthusiasm for working with students was always evident. Nelma's love of footwear was a consistent source of conversation in the Faculty of Human Ecology! My sincere condolences to her family. - Posted by: Lisa Lix (Former Student and Colleague) on: Mar 23, 2023
So very sorry to learn of Dr. Fetterman's passing and extending our deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Dr. Fetterman's philanthropic support extended far and wide and I always appreciated the opportunity to connect! “I would like to be known as an intelligent woman, a courageous woman, a loving woman, a woman who teaches by being.” Maya Angelou.
