WAYNE TUOKKO
Wayne Tuokko passed away on March 15, 2023 at the age of 81 years old. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (2011) and his grandson, Nicolas (2015).
He was raised in the Lac du Bonnet area and spent his adult life in Winnipeg with his wife, Elizabeth Tuokko. Together they had two children, Jamie (Jana Thorsteinson) and Tyler (Margarita) and three grandchildren, Skyler Thorsteinson and Noah and Olivia Tuokko.
He worked for most of his career for Winnipeg Hydro where he made lifelong friends.
A gathering will take place on Sunday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue. Remarks will be shared at 1:30 p.m. A private burial will take place at a later date in his wife Elizabeth's hometown of Westbourne, Manitoba.
