Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I got to know Gary in Ocean Park over the past three years. He was a wise friend and gave good advice whenever asked. I didn't heard from him much as he was getting weaker, but I thought that he had passed on around the time above. People here still ask about him and we do miss him very much. I wonder if I should now confirm he's gone? Many were quite hopeful to see him again. With sadness, John - Posted by: John (local friend) on: Nov 12, 2023

  • I’m so very sorry to hear of Gary’s passing. I have many fond memories of Gary and the family as Laurie babysat my brother Jim and I for many years. My most memorable memory was sitting on the stairs reading his comic books. He had quite a collection and I’m sure he was annoyed when Judy, Jim and I would flip through his stack. Also I have great memories of him and Jan Kreutzer borrowing Dad , Ron’s car without his permission to practice driving. He was a very quiet and humble man. Sincere sympathy to Judy and family. - Posted by: Jaye Feener (Family friend and old neighbour ) on: Mar 18, 2023
