GEORGE ALBERT LILLIE
January 12, 1937 - March 16, 2023
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, George Albert Lillie, age 86. George passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 16, 2023, at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Sheryl (Kevin) Bernstrom and Suzanne (Daniel) Swanton, his three grandchildren, Evan (Rosa), Lindsay and Abby and his sister Marlene (Victor) Bryll, two nephews and two nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Percy and Flora Lillie and sister Elizabeth (Betty) Lincoln.
A celebration of George's life will take place on Thursday, April 27 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Norwood Legion, 134 Marion Street in Winnipeg.
A special thank you to staff at Riverview Health Centre for their excellent care and compassion for Dad.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of George to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation or the Norwood Royal Canadian Legion Branch #43.

Just found out today that George and Marlene are my second cousin. Many years ago my father Gordon Lillie took us to meet his uncles in Manitoba. I was very small but I do remember George's Mom and Dad, Uncle Percy and Auntie Flora. I am so sorry about finding out that George has passed away.
