August 26, 1943 - March 27, 2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Gabriel Toupin, age 79, on March 27, 2023, at Health Sciences Centre, with his loving and devoted wife Thérèse, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marie-Rose and Nicholas Delamater at his side.
Gabriel is survived by his siblings, Donald (Fernande), Alice (Charles), Agnes (Ervé), the Paquette family and many nieces and nephews.
Left to cherish his memory is his soulmate of 57 years, Thérèse (née Paquette), in-laws, Adrienne and Roy Bonin, Marie-Rose and Nicholas Delamater.
Gabriel was a loving husband to Thérèse, a devout Catholic and a charismatic individual. He was constantly making friends and always concerned about everyone's well-being, and wanting to lend a helping hand.
He had a large following in his neighbourhood and he will be sadly missed.
Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gabriel's memory to Centre Flavie or to a charity of one's choice.
Family and friends may sign a

I was very saddened to hear of Uncle Gabby’s sudden passing. He was a very pivotal role model to me during my early formative years, helping to re-enforce critical life principles and values that would prove to become invaluable in my later years He was also the sharpest dresser in the room I will miss him terribly My deepest condolences to Aunt Terry Denis LaPointe - Posted by: Denis LaPointe (Nephew ) on: Apr 20, 2023
