I knew Linda through my late mother, Gail Battey. My mother had many life long stories of Linda and her sister Diane. My condolences to Diane and family. - Posted by: Vanessa McDowell (Daughter of friend Gail Batteu) on: Apr 27, 2023

I met Linda while training in Polo Park. I went on to manage the new K.P. store but we still kept in contact. Linda was a kind person. She loved her job and people she met. Unfortunately we lost touch. I still remember the talks we shared. Deepest sympathy to the family. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Heather Burnell (Friend ) on: Apr 08, 2023

Linda … I loved you so much and so did my kids My son still says “Bradley” the way you always greeted him and laughs with pure happiness. I used to tell people that you were my secret weapon … and it was true because if ever I needed someone in my corner you were there and they were in BIG trouble! But that was just you! If you ever saw anyone you thought needed help you were right there. . . I wish I could have given you a fraction of what you gave to me. I will always love you, my very dear friend. It’s mentioned in your obituary that you were a great salesperson and you were that. But you were that because you had an uncanny way of touching hearts with your offbeat, often sardonic sense of humour. Sadly, we lost touch but when I think of the people who mattered and made a difference in my life, you are one of the best of them. I hope that now you are being honoured for the angel you are and always were on earth … as much as you would laugh at me for calling you out as an angel ❤️ XO - Posted by: Lisa (Hartle) Lysen (Loving friend ) on: Apr 01, 2023

I met Linda when I was managing Ben Moss Jewellers. Linda and I developed a fantastic working relationship and friendship through out the years. Her ability to be top 5 in sales amongst several stores consecutively year after year, was astounding. She was fantastic at her job and never missed a day of work Linda and I were both avid animal activists and lovers. She adored her beautiful cats. She was always generous when I visited her home in St. James and we had many laughs over the years. I took ill and we drifted apart for a few years, but I had the liberty of visiting with her at City Jewellers and chatting whenever I went to the mall. Rest in Peace, Linda, and fly with the angels.
