It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our sweet Oma. Oma passed away peacefully on February 19, 2023, with her beloved daughter, Janet, by her side. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, our biggest supporter and our best friend.
Christl was a Second World War survivor and an avid volunteer at Sargent Park School for over 20 years.
Remaining behind to cherish her memory are her son Michael (Susan), daughter Janet (Jorge), grandchildren, Amanda, Garett (Michelle), Caitlin (Dan), Cameron, Janna, Mitchell (Ashley), and Warren, and great-grandchildren, Emmy, Elliot, and Markus.
She will always be remembered for her kindness, incredible heart, and thoughtfulness. Oma is deeply missed.
To honour her memory, a Celebration of Life for close family members will take place in the summer.

I was so saddened to hear about Oma’s passing. Although there was such a great age difference, she was a very good friend; I used to say that we were like soulmates. We met at Sargent Park School, where I taught N/K. She was a tremendous help throughout my years there.
