Eileen RUTH CHANOWSKI

(PALMQUIST)

Feb 28, 1934 – April 4, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen on April 4, 2023



Eileen is survived by her sons Brian (Deb), Darren, and Kelly, her 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her brother Norman, and sisters Janet, and Margret. Predeceased by husband Edward of 60 years, daughter Brenda (Jim), brothers Carl and Lawrence.



Eileen was born in Winnipeg, MB and raised on the family farm near Hazelridge MB. Eileen worked at the Eaton’s Company for over 40 years, and she continued to help with work on the farm. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with family and friends.



Thank you to the Health Care workers and staff at the Health Sciences Center and Homecare workers.



Viewing will be held on Sunday April 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1800 Day Street. A celebration of Eileen’s life will follow on Monday April 17 at 12:00 p.m. also at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street.



In lieu of flowers, donations in Eileen’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
