It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ernesto Augstin Antazo, affectionately known as Tito Boy to all his friends and family, who left us on April 1, 2023 at the age of 72. He was a cherished member of our family, a dear friend to many and was a caring and gentle soul.

Tito Boy was born on February 16, 1951 in Manila Philippines to Moises and Remedios Antazo. He grew up with his sisters Mely and Elvira, and brothers Reny and Dary. Tito Boy was an energetic and charismatic man with a heart full of compassion that accompanied an infectious laugh and smile. He had a passion for cooking, entertaining and above all else celebrating every occasion by being with his whole entire family. Despite facing many challenges throughout his life, Tito Boy always maintained a positive outlook, an unwavering faith and worked tirelessly at conquering his demons. He was a beacon of light for many and an inspiration to our family. His presence in our lives will be deeply missed.

Tito Boy’s legacy will live on through the memories and love that he left behind but more importantly through his son Philip (Candice), daughter Opalyn (Mark), his immediate grandchildren Penelope, Leopold, Charlotte and Millie; along side his nieces, nephews and the countless children in his family that called him Lolo. Finally, saving his absolute best for last, his legacy lives on through his biggest supporter, his true love, his “pretty girl”, his beautiful wife Nazaria. Always together, attached not only at the hip but forever intertwined at the heart. Their love, a testament to never giving up and to always work through obstacles together having faith in God as their lead.

Lamay (Viewing) will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight with prayer service starting at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 14, 2023 at West Park Seventh Day Adventist Church, 416 Cathart Street. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Cemetery.

Rest in peace, dear Tito Boy. You will always be in our hearts and your memory will forever be cherished.

The family would like to personally thank Dr. Ryan Pierce, nurses Margaret and Martel, and all the staff at St. Boniface Hospital who cared for Tito Boy.
Family and friends may sign a book of condolence at www.glenlawn.ca.
