Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I was so saddened to hear of Judy’s passing. Rena and I have great memories of our families being together when the kids were much younger. Rick was my partner and friend when we were in practice. Judy was such a positive and exuberant person. She was so very bright and competent. A great hostess, and always made those around her feel welcome. She was a force and will be missed by her family. Rena and I send our sympathies to Geoff and Kerri and their families. - Posted by: Issie and Rena (Friend and former partner of Rick ) on: May 06, 2023

  • It was with sadness that My mom ( Maralyn Almdal ), and I had heard the news that Judy had passed away. Mom lived next door to Rick and Judy for many years in Beauconia, MB. Each time I had the opportunity to meet with Judy and chat she always displayed such a cheerful sunny prescence about her. I can only imagine what her mom Joyce and her might be gigling about in heaven ! We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the Kaprowy family and Almdal siblings of Judy. - Posted by: tracey fehr (cousin) on: May 06, 2023

My condolences to Kerri and Geoff……..your Mom was a wonderful person! - Posted by: Heather McDonald (friend) on: Apr 24, 2023

  • Judith was a wonderful woman who made everyone smile in her presence. She travelled three times with the Winnipeg Art Gallery tours. She made significant volunteer contributions to the WAG including being a Chair of the Associates. She shared her joie de vivre with all! She was a thoughtful, caring and generous woman. She will be missed indeed. Our deepest sympathy to her family. - Posted by: Bill & Sherry Glanville (Friends) on: Apr 22, 2023
