ELAINE ROSE MIRECKI
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend, Elaine Mirecki (Fisher), at Health Sciences Centre on Monday, April 17, 2023, at the age of 85.
Elaine was born on August 17, 1937, in the town of Swan River to Clarence and Jean Fisher. Elaine spent her childhood on the family farm in Goodlands. In the 1950s, Elaine moved to Winnipeg where she married Edward Mirecki and lived there for the remainder of her life.
Elaine is survived by her sister Helen; children, Richard (Sharon), Brian (Rebecca), Ronald (Marianne), Susan (Claude) and Dale; grandchildren, Blair (Vikki), Erin (James), Kyle, Lindsay, Alex (Melissa) and Nicole (Carson); great-grandchildren, Noah, Lily, Abigail, Juda and Selah.
A private celebration of her life will be held for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society.

I was very good friends with Sue in our earlier years. The whole Mirecki family treated me as one of their own. I have many wonderful memories.
