Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH DONALD BROWN
After a lengthy illness, Kenneth Donald Brown passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 20, 2023.
Ken will be missed by his one true love, Denise. Also grieving his passing are his brother Donald, sisters, Susan and Linda, his in-laws, Marc, Grace, Susanne, Paul, Louise and their spouses, as well as his numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, his many friends and professional colleagues.
Ken had a gift of making friends wherever he went, whether at home, through his many interests or in his travels. He loved people, visiting with friends and family and of course, challenging discussions. He was a talented person with a keen appreciation for music, the written word and art. A pharmacist by profession, Ken made a valuable contribution, particularly in the fields of Pharmacare and pharmaceuticals.
Ken's greatest hope was that people Do No Harm in their lives, while at the same time Live Life to the fullest, Listen to the Music and Dance! At his request, there will be no Services. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
Many thanks to the staff on 4 West at the Victoria Hospital and the staff on 7 West at the St Boniface Hospital for their care and dedication.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Manitoba Pharmacy Class of '66 Scholarship Fund.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Denise. As I have learned since I lost Aubrey in 2019, take the time to grieve and rely on family and friends. Take care of yourself. May Ken rest in peace. - Posted by: Linda Asper (Past friend) on: May 05, 2023

Denise, we are sorry to hear about Ken’s passing. Robert’s brother Richard kindly let us know. We have such fond memories of Ken. We remember what a great host he was, the fabulous meals at your home, his enthusiasm for the arts—foreign films, theatre, art, good books—-and your travel as detailed in his wonderful year-end letters. What you’d seen and what you’d experienced. We wish we’d had a chance to say good-bye. Sending much love,❤️ Robert and Diana - Posted by: Robert and Diana Stevan (Friends) on: Apr 29, 2023

I had the distinct privilege getting to know Ken as a member of the Pharmacy class of ‘66 at the University of Manitoba. He had a presence that was larger than life, always outgoing, passionate in his convictions, serious and humorous at the same time, consistently professional, a profound ability to communicate, and exuded a love for life and a deep desire to improve lives. While Judy and I met Ken relatively infrequently after our University graduation , each time we did, we saw Denise and him together and witnessed the reality of their loving relationship. Denise, we know you will miss Ken greatly but also know that you have endless memories to cherish. Please accept our sincere condolences.
